PRODUCT CARE: After each use, hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Apply a generous layer of food-grade oil, like mineral oil or butcher block oil, to both sides of the board. This helps repel food paticles and liquids, and prevents staining, cracking, and warping. You can also apply a food-grade wax, like butcher block wax, or beeswax-based products to create a barrier. Avoid soaking or submerging your board in water, or place it in the dishwasher. Also avoid using dish detergent, as this strips the oil.
